It will be the new Convention Center.
The Simon Theatre was built in 1925, by Alfred C. Finn, a renowned architect from Houston. In the 1930's the Simon Theatre was purchased by Will Stuckert, whose family operated the theatre through the Hollywood hay days until the 1970's.
