Instructed in stages makes it easy to paint with breaks to socialize and share your wine, as the paint dries. When the two hours is up you will have a finished painting to take home with you. There is not wrong or right only master pieces!
Artist Delton Gerdes will instruct the groups.
Get your friends together and go as a group, make it a gift for birthdays, Christmas, Mother's Day. It is a wonderful experience.

is located at the top of the stairs.
It is a large room with a queen bed and two comfortable
chairs to watch TV or a movie. It has a private bath with a tub shower combination.
There is wireless internet throughout the house. Our guest who stay in this room
enjoy the privacy the room provides and the view from the window into the tops of the trees and down on the gardens.

Bistro 108
Bistro 108 is a wonderful small bistro in
La Grange, Texas. Located in downtown on the square. There were six of us who went
to dinner there and all of us had
outstanding meals. It is a short drive from Brenham along some of the most scenic roads. They serve a seating for lunch, Early Bird dinner, and dinner.
I suggest making reservations ahead, we did. Menu items change, which means the food is always fresh.

Peaches and Fresh Cream
Peaches and Cream
Cut fresh peaches into slices. Sprinkle with 1/4 C. brown sugar and 3 tsp. vanilla. Set aside for 30 minutes to sweeten up the peaches. Take heavy cream and beat in mixer, add 3 T. brown sugar to sweeten. Just as the cream starts to thickens add 1 T. of bourbon and finish until soft peaks. Set aside. In a small skillet toast chopped pecans in a pat of butter. Set aside. Prepare to serve by placing a little cream in the bottom of glasses, add peaches, more cream and then top with toasted pecans.

Robin's Nest at The Brenham House is located
at the top of the stairs and is the coziest room
that we offer. It has a queen sized bed,
private bath with a shower, two comfortable recliners, flat screened T.V., DVD player, wireless internet, plush robes, specialty soaps, and newly installed individual controlled a/c and heat split units. The unit is very efficient and quiet and you can make the call on the temperature that
is right for you!
Hope is the thing with feathers,

Hand Woven Blanket
This is part of a hand woven blanket that
my grandmother's family made. She brought it with her to Texas when she and her brother moved from their farm in Indiana, after losing both parents at age 14. It was a blanket that four generations used and it was well worn. I took the ragged blanket and lovingly framed parts of the blanket for each of my brothers, my mom, and myself.

History of the Churches at 700 Clinton Street
A second church was built on the original foundation in 1901. Then congregation decided to build a third church on Third Street and dedicated it in 1925. Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church is still on Third Street, Brenham.

Black and White Gala
Black and White Gala!
All of the tables were absolutely beautiful. The first one was the one I decorated. The food was outstanding and the piano concert was presented by Dr. Van Miller. Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed themselves. 
Hope to see everyone next year! The Gala is open to the Brenham community as well as the First United Methodist Church
