Scarecrows are all over Brenham, Texas!  The historic downtown is so cutely decorated with Fall Scarecrows.  So many shops downtown to check out.

This is my father's mother, my grandmother, Ruby Kate Rhode and her pet deer!

This picture was on a post card.

She was born and reared in Iota, Louisiana.  The family moved to Beaumont, Texas after she graduated high school, in 1919.  Someone burnt down her father's two general stores and that is why they moved to Texas.

-Shoes for walking
-Sleepwear and house shoes
-Make up bag with meds and toiletries
***Place bag in the car and as soon as you leave work on Friday, jump in the car and head off to your destination!  ahhhhh
**It is great to get away and unwind.  It allows you to breathe and become reenergized.
