A Child's Christmas in Wales at Unity Theatre

Unity Theatre presents A Child's Christmas in Wales
Directed by Greg Wise

A MUST SEE!

It was absolutely wonderful.  The theatre allows you, the audience, to be close to the

performers... There is not a bad seat in the house.  The night we went the crowd really

got into the performance and enjoyed it immencely.  There was a lot of great music

and wonderful singing; it was funny and a bit thought provoking.  The cast was

wonderful and Susan Draper was outstanding!  From her acting, and singing, to her

comical parts, she was just a delight to watch.  I know her parents Milt and Dorothy

Draper are very proud of their daughter!

IT IS DEFINITELY A MUST SEE THIS SEASON!

Taming of the Shrew
by William Shakespeare

Oct. 23 - Nov. 9 2008
One of Shakespeare's earliest & most popular comedies.

The Taming of the Shrew delights with disguise, deception &

devilment.  Shakespeare gives us the improbable courtship of the

fiery-tongue Katherine by the arrogant Petruchio.  Unlike

Shakespeare's other romantic comedies, the play does not stop

with the wedding.  Shakespeare considers the institution of

marriage, the rifts between men & women, & the rough journey

toward love.

Fall is in the Air!

We are fast approaching the Fall Round Top Antique Festival.  Bring your

walking shoes, plenty of bottled water, and your favorite hat because there will

be great finds and deals to be made.  For those of you who have not attended

this event before it happens twice a year, once in the Fall and again in the

Spring.  Your stay at The Brenham House begins as we gather

around the table for breakfast and meet new friends, share our stories about

the great finds we made and what we hope to find.  Tips are shared, breakfast

is finished and then everyone is off for a full day of seek and find.  Last

October, Jimmy and I were out shopping and who did we see at The Red

Barn... but Frank, one of the designers of HGTV's Trading Spaces!  You just

never know who you will see at the festivals.   People come from all over to the

very tiny town of Round Top, population 77.

We look forward to your visit!
Susan
